Cosmic Century sees the band getting a bit more diverse with their music. Bill Barone tones down his blues rawk guitar a bit, Dollase expands his keyboard arsenal and plays more moog, and the band adds a violin player. The music is still in a firm heavy synphonic style, but they have clearly gotten even more cosmic here obviously influenced by their experiences with the Cosmic Jokers, and Tarot projects. The only problem I have with this album is Dollase's horrible singing. This album, and Stories, Songs, and Symphonies would have been so much better. Cosmic Century Remastered, 2018. While I prefer the guitar driven, Krautrock flavoured Blitzkrieg to this one, I must say that this symphonic album is very pleasing in a different way. I've been listening to this one a lot recently not sure what rating to give it, but i've come around and can now appreciate it's beauty and charm.
