Inspiration for its formation came from founding conductor Harlie Axford. Since then the choir has performed at various locations around the Tweed District, in South East QLD, Tasmania, New Zealand and South Australia. Harlie Axford has received an OAM for his work in music education and has been assisted in conducting duties over recent years by Barbara Crellin, Dean Patterson, Barry Firth, Heather Martin, Lynne Turpie and Kiri Waiata Green. Live at Leeds is the first live album by English rock band The Who. It was recorded at the University of Leeds Refectory on 14 February 1970, and is their only live album that was released while the group were still actively recording and performing with their best known line-up of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon.
