I am uploading is The Fall of Troy finally reaching their peak, creating a masterpiece that will unnerve some fans as their grasp has finally matched their reach. My conclusion is that this album was not a let down in a slightest, providing you were hoping for The Fall of Troy to try and progress and improve upon the sound of the EP and the band themselves. I think they were waiting for a time that would allow them to fully accomplish their vision that they had of this album and with a new bassist, good production and having released the previously mediocre Manipulator, they obviously felt it was time to kick things into artistic overdrive. Phantom on the Horizon. Chapter 4: Enter the Black Demon. The Fall of Troy. Only for completionists 0. And Phantom on the Horizon is no exception. This EP is a remastered version of the band's Ghostship EP, although the tracks have changed significantly I haven't heard the Ghostship EP yet so this is just based on the information I have. Apparently the band had been working on these songs for nearly 5 years, and it really shows. The Phantom on the Horizon - it even sounded awesome. I knew that I had to get my hands on it, and I eagerly anticipated its release, and being able to listen to what would no doubt be a masterpiece. With the addition of bassist Frank Black, this trio would have rather high expectations to live up to, and they definitely did. Lyrics - 9 The lyrics of The Fall of Troy have never been something that I neccessarily listened to them for, but in this concept album the lyrics do tend to be more creative than on other albums, and they follow a definite storyline. It is definitely the trippiest album that they have, and it takes only fifteen seconds of the first song to demonstrate this
